Before its all over with people will go back to having rain barrels.Pollution caused people to stop using them,but rain water filters will make a comeback & make it drinkable once more.
I haven't drank water in many years , I'm guessing about 10 years. There are many substitutes that will replace water as a life saving liquid. I'm well over 70 and very healthy .Fat free milk is an example . I don't drink a lot of the milk but I do drink about 8 bottles of Lipton diet green tea , 0 calories , 0 fat .

Lipton diet green tea? If it's a diet drink, it has some nasty chemicals in it. Better off to drink the water.
