That would require some extra effort!
Just leave the door unlocked.The note would state "UPS,please place package inside".I don't know anyone in Salisbury who has anything worth stealing.
UPS also tracks how long they spend at a stop to the second and if they feel the driver is taking to long it is reflected in his personnel file. So the drivers spend as little time as possible at a stop in order to avoid a write up in their file. The company is to hold some blame as well.
Soooo, what if they knocked loudly, and you didn't hear them? Why is this even a post? People are losing their damn minds.
Can you imagine if our government were even 1/2 as efficient as UPS?
It was a woman UPS driver so the note was not directed at her LOL
