Towjam, no, he just wants that neighborhood to THINK he gives a crap about them. He sucks up to them when he wants their votes, but many there have learned what he REALLY thinks of their neighborhood.
Not sure if this is an ethics violation or not because the campaign is simply picking up the press release from the mayor's office. Smells bad, but probably isn't illegal. What the county gal did, though, was a screw up, directly. This likely skirts that.
He still thinks he's got a shot at a seat in Annapolis. Whose seat? Jim Mathias'?
