I don't know if it'll do any good, but I have created an online petition to stop the weekend work in the city limits. Would you be so awesome as to post it for any of your interested readers to sign?
Im so appreciative that you brought this problem to the public spotlight. Maybe your influence as a member of the media will help the "leaders" of this city get their heads out of their arses.

Obviously the city employee's you are dealing with are complete idiots! No apology Tom. No apology neighborhood services and Mrs. Phillips. No apologies to the mayor or city council either.
They all have upped the anty on the stupidity meter to new levels in Salisbury!
Easy fix? render the equipment inoperable for the weekend. Clearly the city knuckle draggers are not going to help.
So here we are Saturday, January 31 and we have to listen to construction equipment again somebody needs to do something this is a community made up of residents that have lived here for long time we don't deserve this kind of disrespect
So here we are Saturday, January 31 I am awake into construction equipment once again please somebody do something about this besides Roger Christian he is not the only one that lives in this community I live here and a lot of other people do too this is really ridiculous that you would allow this to go on whoever is in charge why don't you take charge of the situation rectified it instead of having us call and complain. The quality of my life has already gone downhill because of the construction during the week I am a retired disabled person I don't need this in my life
Can you tell us who are the businesses that are involved in this? What are they working on? Where are you? (I am new here-sorry if you already posted this info.)
