The roadside breath test for marijuana that will weed out stoned drivers

Researchers at Washington State University in Seattle are working on a breath test to determine if a driver is under the influence of marijuana.

The News Tribune reports that law enforcement officers have a test for alcohol, but they don't have a tool to test for marijuana impairment.

Right now, officers must use blood tests to determine if THC is present in a driver's blood.

But WSU chemistry professor Herbert Hill says existing technologies like those used by airport security agents to detect drugs and explosives can be altered to test breath for THC.

So is being seen leaving Dunkin' Doughnuts with over three doughnuts... probable cause to submit?

When will Federal and State Employees --be made to test? Why are Judges not subjected to Drug Tests? -- instead of just anyone the Government desires to turn into a cash flow?

Behavior change-- the sole reason 2/3's of our public sector is employed-- when their behavior is never in question.

And who am I supposed to believe that this machine actually works?
The GD government...? There is no way in the world to test for THC in your breath.., the chemical attaches to fat cells. How much rutting fat are you exhaling? For crying out loud people wake TF up, it's just another con to take your money.

Just check for reddish- yellow squinty eyes - the age old test. Or just do something spontaneous and funny. Any stoned person will laugh regardless of the consequences. No need for expensive government big brother tests.
