LBJs amendment stifling the churches from political discourse for tax exempt status 10 years before paved the way to the culture we now suffer from.
Time travelers think they can simply pop in and out of major historical events and alter things to fit their agenda.They wouldn't dare prevent any major disasters or assassinations because of the catastrophic consequences,but they persist in playing a chess game with past events,mainly political.One of these days they will overstep their boundaries and alter civilization as we know it.
