The Across the Bay 10K will take place on Sunday, November 9th.

Nearly 20,000 runners will run 6.2 miles from Northrop Grumman on the western shore to Chesapeake Bay Business Park in Stevensville on the eastern shore between the hours of 7 am and 2 pm. The event will affect the following roads during the periods detailed below with suggested alternate routes as specified:

Bay Bridge, eastbound span (US 50)
**CLOSED**
2 AM – 2 PM: The westbound span will carry two-way traffic during these hours with one lane moving in each direction. Leave early, expect delays.

Bay Bridge, eastbound span (US 50)
**CONGESTION**
2 AM – 2 PM: The westbound span will carry two-way traffic during these hours with one lane moving in each direction. Leave early, expect delays.

Route 8 – US 50 eastbound exit
**CLOSED**
2 AM – 2 PM: Follow marked detour

Route 8 – US 50 westbound exit
**CLOSED**
2 AM – 2 PM: Follow marked detour on Route 18 (Main Street) in Stevensville to Castle Marina Road.

Route 8 southbound, from Route 18 to Thompson Creek Road
**LIMITED TO ONE LANE**
2 AM – 2 PM: Traffic will be reduced from two lanes to one lane. Expect delays.

Pier One Road 5 AM – NOON: Road will be open in both directions with narrowed lanes and runners traveling in a coned lane on the north side of the road.
