Looks like a first offense PBJ to me.
His involvement has been noted and can be used against him if another incident occurs.
Not sure if SU Code of Conduct is the same as Police. Seems a students on campus offence would be under stricter rules than a student's off campus offense, where local police would handle the situation.
His trial is 9/15 - lets save action until after that.
The admin at SU takes off campus offenses very serious and based on the video's and eye witness testimonials they felt compelled to take no additional action. Let's wait for Joe to post the video and the police report to see for ourselves.
SU either shows up late or not at all. They never assist SPD when it comes to their students. The college could easily save money and do away with their police and hire security guards.
If he was back to the police and they charged and tackled him what code of conduct did he violate? Of course as said we don't know if words were exchanged before hand. Then again they say he violated none but still has a record for it, this does not bode well for a system of justice in any juriprudence. If I am found not guilty of a traffic violation should the fact i was acused be held against me in the future? I would hope not!
1:11-SU Police never show up or assist because the City of 'Bury does not allow them to. All other University's Police work hand in hand with the local Police. If the City let the SU Police deal with all the student off campus issues (The Zoo, New Zoo for example)the they could be arresting thieves, murders, etc.
2:28 from 1:36 this I am well aware of this especially by Salisbury police. When I was a juvenile Coulbourne Dykes tried accusing me of stealing my own bike. Ever since that incident I had nothing but run in's with him and all the detectives of that department, all bogus!
This is all pretty discouraging. That some Salisbury police officer would say in this blog that police "hate" college students is very, very sad and underscores the real problem. Why can't the City police focus on the drug dealing and hard crime in the City and leave student conduct enforcement to the University police? Are City police afraid to tackle real crime, but instead find college students an easy, safe target?
6:28: Yes they are afraid and 4:29: You should really be evaluated for your anger issues. Just goes to show that SPD has really lowered its police officer standards.
it would be nice if SUPD handled the college areas as they should. SPD would be else where however they have to respond to loud party calls and intoxicated pedestians all the time. dont forget the intoxicated college student that gets jumped and robbed walking back to campus from a night of partying
Anon: 6:28 there is more drugs dealt on campus and between students then there is on the streets of Salisbury. S.U. throws away more pot and charges administrative fines so it is not published in the news. They keep the money come in and get administrative fines sometimes in the thousands which is happily paid by the parents. I know this to be a fact, been there policed that. We only have to look to the S.U. lax team of 2012-2013 to see how much was taken from them in a bust.

I had a run in with that jerk as a kid too. Some people worship that guy like he was a hero or god or something. I could never understand that. He was just another loud mouthed kop to me.

Did any SU PO's respond at any time? The state system encourages them to stay out of as much as possible.
Enough money and the problem went away. Of course the liberal "universtiy" doesnt want problems being exposed.
Yes, SU police responded but did not tackle or assault anyone.

1:36 PM - I would hope not either, but once you have a name with the law, stick a fork in you, you're done.

Where is the video.
1:11 you are simply clueless. Stick to policing your city where SU students not so happily live.
The SU students all like the SPD.
NOT
They should really think about the perception of their actions. Stop bossing people around.
We hate SU students. This town worships them for the borrowed money they have in their pockets.
The police hate them. They cause us nothing but grief.

Being a police officer is the lowest way to earn a living.
They are the absolute scum of the earth.
