It sounds like Salisbury has 3 out of 5 ambulances out of service?
They are supposed to have 3 paid ambulance crews in service and we're not sure where they put that crew. Right now Fruitland, Parsonsburg and Hebron are taking EMS calls in Salisbury and the 3 paid fire engine crews are responding on the medical assists with them.

Sounds to me like there is a problem with the leadership at the Salisbury Fire Department. That's what happens when you have a EMS that falls under the Fire Department. It should be separate.
The fire side has 7 fire engines/trucks for all these ambulance calls. Oops I mean fire calls.
I believe there are several ambulances that have broken down leaving the city with only two working ambulances. I think Sharptown has loaned Salisbury one ambulance to get them through good job Sharptown. As many ems calls as Salisbury runs things like this are going to happen and of coarse it all happens at one time.
It wouldn't happen "all at one time" if regular maintenance was paid attention to. Now I have to be transported to the hospital on top of the firehoses?
Wow, is that cool or what?
I think what is the answer here....
You could always call Lifestar to cover your arses. They have real ambulances that get regular maintenance every day and run all day long.

If they didnt drive them all over town and only use when needed they may last a bit longer.
