Millsboro, DE – The Delaware State Police have arrested a Tier 2 sex offender after an investigation reveals he sexually abused a child in his care.
Detectives with the Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit in Georgetown arrested John T. King, 65 of Millsboro, DE, Wednesday August 27, 2014 after an investigation into the sexual abuse of a three year old female ensued after she was examined at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital on Friday August 22, 2014 due to some complaints of soreness to her lower region. The examination and investigation revealed the three year old child had been sexually active for a period of time and that she had been under the periodic care of John King, who is a non-familial friend of the victim's mother, when these sexual encounters occurred.
John King, who is a medium risk Tier 2 sex offender, responded to Troop 4 on his own accord and was charged with Unlawful Sexual Contact by a Sex Offender, and three counts of Sexual Abuse by a Person of Trust. He was arraigned at JP2 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $220,000.00 cash bond.
Because of the sensitivity of this case, and in consideration of the victim and their family, only limited information is being released.

This is why some perverts should NEVER be allowed back into society. There is no "cure"..Some people say castrate them--that does not work, because they can still molest in other ways (I don't want to get graphic). There is a whacko doctor, Dr. Berlin who "treats" sex offenders...I had to go to a seminar he was speaking at once for a law enforcement related training..he had a panel sex offenders on stage with him..it was unreal listening to them...there was an incident (not that they talked about it)where one of his "patients" was actually molesting a child in the good doctors parking lot, then the molester hit the side of the building when he became to "distracted".
