I'm no Economic Forecaster but Folks... Wicomico County's financial future looks bleak!!!
On page 4 showing the Property Tax revenue is down 19.6% or more than $2.08 million SHORTFALL from last year... that should tell everyone that you need to vote competent people into political offices. Our area (and the entire State of Maryland) needs some drastic changes in the direction we need to make. The "Community Organizers" as we all know just can NOT understand the business practices. You know that America's TOP "Community Organizer" (The Prez) is a prime example of America's demise.
We need JOBS, JOBS, JOBS from sustainable industries. Bringing in more fast food restaurants to feed the tourists is NOT going to help us. Bring manufacturing & technology firms to land East of the Bypass. I'm voting for Bob Culver, M.J. Caldwell & Larry Dodd so we can have a better future!!
The numbers don't lie!!!! City of Salisbury residents... you have a "Community Organizer" in the Mayor's Office as well. Time to Clean HOUSE!!!
The number of jobs went down, and so did the unemployment rate. It's a good thing people are moving out of the city, or we couldn't claim unemployment is trending downward.
It doesn't mean they are moving out of the city, it means they are no longer looking for work - getting gov't benefits/SSI.

Sadly, a turnaround for the city is years and years away.....if ever.....

My house is up for sale bought it for $265000 selling for $175000 just bc I hate this fn corrupt town.
Proclaiming Pollitt is to blame in the county and Ireton is to blame for salisburys issues when are the people going to throw these bums out?
