OK... This is a very important opportunity for veterans to voice their concerns and get questions about the new law that will hopefully be in effect by that time. The law is concerning health care in the private sector for veterans that are more than 40 miles away from a major facility. In other words...if you need surgery and you are on the eastern shore you either wait or elect to have a local hospital do your operation if you cannot get it done in a timely fashion in a VA major medical facility. This includes EVERY VET ON THE EASTERN SHORE PENINSULA. It is time to speak up and get answers. I sincerely hope people will turn out for this meeting to get informed as to how this new system is going to be instituted because it is sorely needed and way past due. I will be there. Hope to see you.

I noticed that the Congressman Andy Harry Easton Town Hall Meeting was at the Easton Volunteer Fire Company in Easton but the Salisbury Town Hall Meeting is at the Salisbury VFW.

Now I wonder why it is not at the Salisbury Fire Department Station 16. You know that $14 million dollar fire station with the large community hall that is open to the public. You know the community hall that was used to pacify the tax payers thinking they would benefit with a community hall. Why isn't the Salisbury Town Hall Meeting at the Salisbury Fire Department? Is it because Congressman Harris is a Republican and Mayor Jim Ireton hates Andy Harris and all Republicans. If you remember correctly Jim Ireton and Chuck Cook have protested in front of Congressman Harris' office numerous times. I wonder if the Congressman was denied the use of the Salisbury Fire Station because of Jim Ireton?

12:40 PM I think you are on to something.

If he really wants to hear people, answer questions, and have town hall talks, why only one hour? That's enough time for hey, how are you, I will not raise taxes, and out the door... Give the people who vote for you and pay your salary more than one hour every two years...

12:40 I hope that's not the reason he was denied use of silly station 16... (pocomoke spent half that) it represents the people... and not the libtard agenda... so Jimbo and chuck can stay home

He needs a good turn out to create a "buffer zone" against the illegals that are planning disruptive protests. (I'm sure Jimbo and Chuck will ring lead the cause of the illegals)

I will be there to defend the Congressman.
