RUBEN ARNAZ COLLINS CONVICTED OF ARMED ROBBERY

On May 7, 2014, Ruben Arnaz Collins, age 42, of Wicomico County was convicted of Armed Robbery and related charges by a Wicomico County jury. The charges against Collins arose out of a robbery of the Stop-N-Shop in Delmar, Maryland on October 2, 2013. Collins was convicted of Armed Robbery, Robbery, Second Degree Assault, Theft Less $1000 and Dangerous Weapon. On October 2, 2013, Collins entered the Stop N Shop wearing a hooded sweatshirt demanding money and wielding a knife. Sentencing of Collins has been deferred to a future date.

Wicomico County State’s Attorney Matthew A. Maciarello commended the Delmar Police Department, the Salisbury Police Department, and the Wicomico Bureau of Investigation for their work in the investigation and prosecution of this case. Mr. Maciarello also thanked Deputy State’s Attorney Ella Disharoon who prosecuted the case.

Darn shame his upbringing failed. His father was a heck of a basketball star at the old Worcester High School!

Check out his past record, he has been in trouble in this county for 20 years! Keep letting him out and he does the same thing. Robbed a motel one time and jumped in River to avoid the cops! Just check his record REPEAT> OVER AND OVER AND OVER
