I thot about a month ago blm decided to keep these horses.
Yet they let illegal aliens live there and don't bother them a bit.
The sole goal of the BLM since the appointment of Neil Kornze as director, a Nevadan and previously a top advisory to Reid is the elimination of any living thing on public lands except of course the illegals camping illegally on public lands.
After a stink made (kept under wraps and barely reported) about how a solar operation was interfering with the desert tortoises in CA, the BLM agreed to open a conservation center for them. Hardly reported at all again, was how they have quietly closed the center and executed most of the tortoises. Democrats are evil evil people. There will be a special place in hell for them when they die, as well as bad karma will continue to haunt them. Take Biden's son for instance. Sins of the father, maybe? He lost his mother and sister in an accident. He's too young to have had a stoke and just last year they operated on him for brain lesions. Those must be some kind of genetic thing though because his father's brain has something wrong with it as well.

As much as horses have helped humans throughout the years and continue to do so, (in so many ways),they continue to be mistreated. Slaughter is not the answer. I have heard there is birth control. Our government has so many cruel and ignorant people in high positions. The only hope I can to save us all is The Second Coming.
They've tried to push off horse as a "delicacy" in parts of Europe. This is untrue. You would be hard pressed to find a European who wouldn't gag at just the thought, of eating horse meat. It's mostly an idea pushed onto tourists with the hopes of this cheap meat catching on and it hasn't.
What is happening is it is being secretly used in frozen foods as passed off as beef.
That's the best they got to spend time on?? And OUR money?? Horses, who have run wild for decades on open range get sold for meat? Is the world down to their last 300 million cattle, chickens, fish, and sheep?

Is the BLM an actual agency given any authority by the American people or is it just another faceless bureaucracy manned by way-too-powerful unelected appointees that don't believe they answer to ANYONE and get to make law without anyone's input?

The solution? Take them out in the street, along with every member of Congress, and hang them.

Lorraine, it is called immunocontraception. I was involved with the HSUS when the word came out that the ponies residing in the national park section of Assateague were in danger. The HSUS using immunocontraception was instrumental in reducing the size of the herd, thus pacifying the federal government......for the time being.
The BLM paid a no doubt well connected livestock hauling company, $966,000 to round up Bundy's cattle. What they pay these companies could go a long way in using immunocontraception on the wild horses and the burros. If they are determined to annihilate them, at least do it humanely and let them fade away on their own through contraception. But no, the Obama admin has aggressively gone after the wild horses and burro beginning in Dec 2009. It is as if they get a perverse pleasure out of not only harming the animals but seeing those who love them suffer as well. Besides if they did that, the well connected politically livestock haulers would lose out on getting their pockets lined and the politicians wouldn't see contributions from them.
The real truth is that they are in training to start rounding up Americans and selling US off to the highest bidder for feed. So BEWARE...and get your GUNS.
