ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Maryland's nonpublic schools are pushing for a business tax credit to encourage investments in schools.
Hundreds of students are scheduled to attend a rally in downtown Annapolis Tuesday morning. They're coming to support the Maryland Education Credit Bill, a measure filed by Sen. James DeGrange and Del. Keiffer Mitchell.
Maryland presently has 25 tax credits but none for education, the Maryland Catholic Conference reports.
