If you are watching from Fruitland then you have a vote. She is running for the County Council at Large. Do not vote for Laura Mitchell, Manure Boda, Josh Hastings, or Kirby Travers. These are Fruitland's other choices so please vote Republican.

You can do back ground checks but if I'm right here none of this would show up this many years later because there was no criminal case. Only a civil suit was filed and I don't think they show up this many years back . Not to mention if it was settled out of court it would never show up .Either way they know now and should take action.

The Maryland University system only does background checks on the workers not the faculty or administration. I know this makes no sense but it's true. Every University in Maryland's system have faculty with a past that would get them booted (this includes SSU). But tenure protects them especially when some of the administrators have a checkered past.

Because Laura Mitchell is mooching off the Tax Payers with rental vouchers and he is mooching off of her. He is not on the lease and shouldn't be living there. Being married and no kids living with her disqualifies her, but Dale Dashields looks the other way. He is a slum lord and they rent to slobs and white trash.

You are correct. He was the vice president of the Wicomico County Democrat Club and a big supporter of Jake Day, Jim Ireton, O'Malley and Jim Mathias.

There are many families, married and single that live where she lives, not to mention the elderly single ladies. Income and household size are deciding factors, not the dynamics of the house. Being single does not qualify you. Also, I do not think it is fair to claim all residents are slobs or white trash simply because of one rotten apple. Not having your facts in order only strengthens her case. Be informed, there are plenty of facts that easily prove her low quality without making ignorant statements with no basis.
They never seem to do background checks on who is doing work at colleges, you got a couple of registered sex offenders all the time working down at UMES. The owner of the company that does work there is a real baddy, he is a tear 3 Violent offender!
Joe you did an article on the same story that 7:51 PM is talking about and it has the guest list with the same people the Democrats are putting up to run for the County Council. I wonder if Jim is raising money for these dead beats. He can give them money from his campaign fund. Check out your own article and you will see what we are talking about.

What's so honorable about day & mitchell. Why are they entitled to that title? Oh, they're "entitled"? You never heard Ms. Cohen, Campbell, Shields or Mr. Spies referred to as honorable, which BTW they are, especially when compared to those 2.
The article says that he was "unavailable for comment" so be sure to as him about that student's charge against him at the upcoming campaign events.
And ask him and L. M. about his termination from SU.
I wouldn't vote for her. She's made too many poor choices in her personal life. Your personal life is the true picture of who you are. Who you are in private is your true reflexion. If you can not make good rational decision about something as important as your own life then you can not in anyway, shape or form make good decisions about anything.

I help manage a business, pay my rent on time, I am not in a section 8 house and probably make more money than you. So don't been so condescending about those of us who choose to rent instead of own. I pay a lot of taxes and do not take from the government.
