Seven years after a previous design for the site was shot down by the city, a new proposal for the grounds of the former Ocean City Health and Racquet Club is looking to move forward this spring.
“We all know how controversial this project was in a prior life,” said designer Jeff Thaler. “So we’re trying to keep this as noncontroversial as possible.”
“The city’s problem with the previous project was that it seemed like 10 gallons of sand in a five gallon bucket,” Thaler said. “It think what we have now is about four gallons in a five gallon bucket.”

It is what it is. OC can no longer bee too picky with WHAT they approve because the Town has been stagnant too long. This of course if an opinion from who benefit from the Town's advancements rather than what it does for their (voting) citizens.
I realize it is complicated.
It will be built and there will not be any from here's living there.
Summer=150 rooms x 4 guests=600 guests plus employees, delivery vehicles and open air bar. All jammed and crammed on a narrow parcel of land trying to exit on Coastal Highway into the traffic coming off of RT 90. Poor planning.
