Today - Famous Dave's is making the final move from their current Salisbury location. The moving vans are presently loading up to make their departure. It marks the end of six years at this establishment and it is reported that it will result in the displacement of 45 employees.
Word is the Greene Turtle will be relocating to this location in the near future.

I can't believe that I drove all the way from Crisfield to dine at this facility only to find it closed because of a bomb threat. What a way to exit from da Bury.
I had heard that Green Turtle was going into UNO's since they were closing down, now what is going to go into UNO's?
cut your losses and get the f out of sby while you still can... They will tax you to death if you don't hurry...
UNOs has not really announced they were leaving.. but like most places in County the prospects for growth are not very good.
The Turtle was just exploring the possibility... but come on ..
How much opportunity is there in Fruitland?
They have 5 decent destinations who struggle as it is.
If you drive just a little farther South I see Legends has up on their Marquis - a Sorry To Leave Sign. I am seeing so many vacant buildings it isn't funny.

What is a shame is you passed a bunch of really good restaurants along the way and some of them serve BBQ!
I'm saddened for the employees, but the food at Dave's just wasn't that good.
Hard to believe there was a 1 hour wait when they first opened
I think Famouse Daves will be a great location for The Greene Turtle. To small where they are now
They could have went to work across the street at Cracker Barrel if zoning had'nt stopped that project.
I will mourn the loss of my favorite fried pickles (which you could only get if you asked nicely lol) and (in my opinion) the best corn muffins around. :'(
Just another nail in the eastern shore coffin..... Won't be be much left 6 months from now...
I blame it on famous dave's advertising. You never saw promotions, new menu items, deals or even commercials for their establishment! Business takes effort and it seems they did the same thing every day!
Swellys bar and restuarant closed this past weekend on Northwood drive. It used to be called Hoops and Laceys.
