Why is this even called a fire department. Rarely do they even get a structure fire. Just a few times a year and they get tens of thousands of EMS calls a year.
I'm glad we have a great fire department organization and am impressed with how, when there are all of a sudden two or more structure fires, how Mardela, Hebron, and Delmar head our way to cover the area in case of yet a third event. Great job, everyone!
I am, however feeling robbed and shat upon when I see you using fire trucks to back up ambulance calls as simple as a Deer's Head body pickup (traffic there?) or a trouble breathing call, and especially on the grocery and lunch calls.
You obviously have no respect for the money we earned with our backs to pay for, maintain, and fuel those trucks.
For that, everyone in the city is at odds with you.
And you wonder why Joe posts your ignorance on his blog!

You are displaying your ignorance by ranting on a blog site that is not neither recognized or run by the City of Salisbury instead of going to a council meeting with your issues. Why is that? No I am not a city taxpayer nor a firefighter.

Let's just take YOU for example. You are one of those people that goes around saying, no way, I never go to Salisbury News. Please, do explain the 18,400,000 hits we reached in 2013???
You can remain in denial all you want. You can make false claims we insignificant all you want. I have NEVER failed in business. I have NEVER given up.
Through less than a hand full of people we have surpassed ALL local News outlets.
WE get more tips on news than ANYONE else out there and guess what, I give PROPS each and every time someone comes up with a story WE did NOT get first. I also LINK to them, something NONE of them do when they steal MY news on a daily basis.
Now go place your Eastern Shore tooth under your pillow tonight for the tooth fairy and be especially nice this year so Santa will bring you nice presents because you live in a fantasy world.

Please explain to your followers WHY businesses or the public follow through with your suggestions or city/county governments establish new policy/procedures at YOUR urging or DEMANDING. I dont think you can answer that question with any amount of honesty.
Your blog how NO BEARING on how any establishment is run in Wicomico County or the City of Salisbury. Sure you have a tremendous amount of page view but it is only for those of us that are watching the train wreck in progress. Nothing more.
