COLORADO LEARNS THAT RECALL ELECTIONS AREN’T THE ONLY CONSEQUENCE OF PASSING GUN CONTROL LAWS

Magpul Industries, one of the largest gun manufacturers in the United States, formally announced Thursday it is relocating its operations to Wyoming and Texas. The company is fleeing the state of Colorado following the passage of new gun control laws that “dramatically” limit the sale of firearms accessories.

The company is relocating manufacturing, distribution and shipping operations to Cheyenne, Wyo., and moving its corporate headquarters to Texas, according to a press released provided to TheBlaze. Magpul is still considering three North Central Texas sites, but the transition will begin immediately after a final decision is made.

“Magpul made the decision to relocate in March 2013 and has proceeded on an aggressive but deliberate path,” Doug Smith, Chief Operating Officer for Magpul Industries, said. “These dual moves will be carried out in a manner that ensures our operations and supply chain will not be interrupted and our loyal customers will not be affected.”

maryland gun control is up and the crime rate is rising. so what doe's that say about gun control????? more gun control = more crime. it will be just like mexico and other places where only the criminals do and will have guns.

12:36 If they were serious, they would have already left. They'll get greased with tax breaks, and cave to commie MD. Magpul has balls, and used them. Benelli, not so much.

If the politicians are true to their word on wanting to get rid of guns, the first thing they should do is eliminate any security detail they now have. If they fear real criminals, they can secure the "required" training, pay the "required" fees, and then purchase a gun to protect themselves.

7:49 you are so totally incorrect.
The new gun laws imposed hinders their business.
They have a repair shop and can not accept, repair or return certain banned guns/magazines/parts

Interestingly enough the rifles made by LWRC in Cambridge with the patented gas piston actuator is specifically exempt from the ban. Damned shame they cost so much.
