WASHINGTON, — When conservative organizations claimed that they were targeted by the IRS, the one-third or so of the nation who still trust this president may actually question whether the dots connect to prove it. But what if two people speak out against Obamacare, working together publicly on an Obamacare-related problem, and then receive threatening letters from the IRS — on the same day?
Illinois health insurance broker C. Steven Tucker and South Carolina cancer patient Bill Elliott both received letters from the IRS on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013.
The Washington Times reported on Nov. 7 that Elliott appeared on The Kelly File on Fox News Channel to explain that he had lost his insurance in the midst of his cancer treatment, all because of Obamacare requirements. This segment from Megyn Kelly’s show became a widely-shared video, due in part to Elliott’s admission that he voted for Obama’s re-election in 2012 because of the president’s comments about people being able to keep their plans, doctors and hospitals. When Elliott lost his policy, doctors, hospitals and treatments during his fight against cancer, he quickly recognized that Obama has been lying all along. Elliott now calls for Obama’s resignation when he appears in interviews.

lock and load , it's a commin
Oh yeah. Congressmen LISTEN to citizens outrage. All the time. It tears their heart out with angst. They get told the polls show that they are less popular than syphilis and they can't sleep at night. Call them and express your "outrage". Their secretary will make a note. Then promptly throw it in the trash. If they were concerned about your outrage, they wouldn't have voted themselves pay raises every year, exempted themselves from the laws they impose upon us, accepted bribes and payoffs to favor their friends and cronies, exempted themselves from obamacare, made careers out of a part-time job, how much time do you have???...the list is rather long....but call them anyway. It will make YOU feel like you actually have a voice, huh?
It's time all of us that still care stand up against this communist bastard.

I know ur being sarcastic, and that's fine. I agree to a point. While what you say may or may not be true, you shouldn't dissuade others from calling their reps. It may help, or it may not help. And ur right about it might make them feel good. To know at least they tried to do something.
That small effort might lead to another small effort. And it could keep snowballing until a petition or a movement is born.
And no one ever said that calling your rep is ALL you have to do. There are other things one can do as well and in junction with phone calls.
Giving up before trying is called defeat. And in the process, one can make contacts, like minded people, sharing thoughts with each other on what needs to be done.
I think most know what needs to be done, but all other options should be exhausted before we go there.
And when we do go there, let's make sure we did it the correct way as to have no blemish which may give our opponents a foot hold to stop our momentum.
Doing the call ur rep thing would lay some important groundwork down to connect with like minded people with the same goals..
I am speaking of an organization. To share common goals, tenets, mode of operation. Lets say you get a thousand people to an event. Has anyone had the foresight to secure food and beverage for these people?
That would be an example of calling a rep and nothing much getting done. But in the meanwhile, people have been talking amongst themselves on what needs to be done and are prepared to step up and go to work.
And all that sprang up because of a negative phone call that someone did not see as a negative, but as an opportunity.
We know some of our enemies across the aisle, and we also know our enemies in our own party. They can be many adventures
