Phillips Seafood Restaurants is bringing the flavor of Maryland seafood to other corners of the country as the company looks to expand its franchises in 2014.
The Baltimore-based chain plans to add several franchise locations next year to the 11 franchises already in its repertoire.
The first new restaurant is set to open in mid-January as part of the renovated Maryland House, a rest stop off Interstate 95 in Harford County. Phillips was previously a tenant within the same service center, which closed for renovations last year.

don't you just love that Asian crab meat? their crabs do NOT come from Maryland at all and I'm told it comes from china and other Asian countries. yuk
Hooper's in West OC has the crowds that used to go to Phillips Crab House. Phillips closed their Beach Plaza location and offers a scaled down menu at the Crab House where they still have an expensive average buffet.
11:03 your spot on.
Have not eaten in a phillips since my last bad meal in OC back around 1978.
The food isn't all that
How do you have the flavor of Baltimore when the crabs come from asia? gross!
