It’s An Ill Wind That Blows Maryland No Good

Maryland joined seven other states in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast in petitioning the federal government Monday to require nine upwind states to cut down air pollution emissions.

The petition is aimed at Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. It seeks a reduction in emissions carried by prevailing winds that contribute to the formation of ozone in the downwind states.

The other states filing the petition are Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.

The latest Democrat ploy to kill the economy.

Why worry? We'll all be dead in 5 years because of Fukishima anyway. In the afterlife we can discuss whether we were upwind or downwind.

actually maybe the northern counties of Maryland might want to look at suing Annapolis for all the BS coming out of there. All that hot air might add to climate change and swamp Baltimore.

So cars stuck in beltway traffic in the DC-Baltimore corridor don't account for any air pollution? Or the back-ups at the bay bridge? Like children they try to deflect the blame on someone else.

If you think it about farm crops in the local area do suffer from things such as bugs, weeds, a lot of soybean plant problems all start in the south and migrate here. Prevailing winds, and storms move from south to north. Whats hard about that?
