ANNAPOLIS — Republicans and Democrats alike appear to be lining up with legislation to alter and in some cases repeal the controversial stormwater pollution fee sometimes referred to as the “rain tax.”
Many have their eye on next year’s elections, and some are complaining of what they see as uneven application of the 2012 law across the jurisdictions to which it applies — eight counties and Baltimore city.
“You’re going to see a lot of stuff on the rain tax,” said Sen. Joan Carter Conway, D-Baltimore, chairwoman of the Education, Health and Environmental Affairs Committee.

And Salisbury is trying to pass a rain tax of their own and arent required to. What is the tax $$ going to fund if there's no need?
Now the Dems are scrambling now because the laws they passed were not in the interest of the people and the businesses. They have all sucked up to O'Malley who sucked up to Obama. We should not elect another Democrat for anything, because they can't be trusted.
In several groups I'm associated with, to a person everyone stated they will not vote for ANY politican that votes for this rain tax period. And many of these folks are democrats!

Wonder how much time OweMalley spent touting Rain Tax on his NH trip???
It will be fun seeing Dems rip him on that. And it will happen.
If we had a "dirty pol tax", we wouldn't have any debt.
