NYPD detective Wojceich Braszczok, was formally charged with gang assault, criminal mischief, riot and more in the 14-count indictment related to the September 29 altercation with SUV driver Alexander Lien.
Braszczok was off-duty at the time.
Footage of the incident recorded from a biker's helmet camera went viral after it was posted online.

We are led to believe by the article that the "incident" started when the only vehicle involved that was sporting a legal license plate "bumped" into one og the many motorcyclists, who were probably out for a Sunday drive.
That's what this is. We ALL usually take the plates off our vehicles and drive in groups for our enjoyment and camaraderie, right?

Let me say this about that. The thugs in this group need to get what's coming to them. Thet knowingly and with premeditation participated in this gang activity, by removing their plates before setting out on their expedition, and deserve every punishment the laws dish out.
However, for the police officer, who has taken an oath to uphold the Constitution and to protect and to serve Mr. Lien to not only premeditate this crime by removing his plate, but actually promoted and encourages gang members to commit crime by his mere participation deserves an entirely new law to be put on the books.
Braszczok's Law, we'll call it, requires that any sworn officer from any agency in or out of state, or country who has taken that or any similar oath, the minimum sentence will be life without parole.
Period.
