The D.C. Navy Yard Shooting And Racial Double Standards

Imagine that a white man went on a shooting rampage at a location in which there gathered many people of various racial backgrounds. He shoots and kills, say, a dozen people. Most of his victims are black.

Though there is relatively little known about the shooter’s background, this much isknown: by all accounts, he was an “angry, frustrated, vengeful” man who not infrequently complained that he was mistreated because of the color of his skin. He was also known to have in turn mistreated blacks who he believed had wronged him.

The liberals don't seem to understand that the dictionary's meaning of racism does not define a color.

One could argue it was the reason MLK used the term "content of character".

I think the author forgot to take his pills today.

#1 the shooter's story was clearly one of mental illness. He may have spoke about discrimination, but it was clearly documented that he believed he was being followed by secret agents.

#2 the fall off of media coverage has alot more to do with the fact that we unfortunately have become desensitized. It's pretty hard to beat the mass shooting of elementary school kids in the realm of evil. Now anything "less" isn't considered newsworthy for long.
