So in my mailbox tonight is a letter from the Town of Pittsville with a survey attached from Mann & Mann Grant Solutions. The Town of Pittsville wants the citizens to complete a survey letting them know what their household income is. The letter states the purpose for collecting this information is for an application to the Maryland Dept. of Housing and Community Development, requesting grant funds for updating the Town's Comprehensive Plan. It goes on to state that the State of Maryland requires that periodic updates be made. Then states that the "Town does not have adequate funds to cover this expense". Well to this I say...I will not be completing this survey. It is none of anyone's business how much I make especially since the Town of Pittsville Council members don't think the taxpaying citizen's have a right to know what happened with Carla Moore. If the rumor is true that it involves theft, then collect that money from her & maybe the town will be able to afford to update the Town's Comprehensive Plan. I have lived in this town for over 25 years & this is the first time I have ever been asked to tell them what my household income is. Not going to happen at least not until they tell the citizens what we want to know!!

I got this same letter. I thought it was junk and in the shredder it went. The state knows what we make when we file taxes. We don't need those nosey busy bodies at the town knowing any of our information.
I am a Pittsville resident and the only way I can feed the cats is for the dogs to throw-up. . . no this is serious.
The Town should not have to spend one iota in trying to divulge private information on its citizens.
We also got the same letter. We live in Worcester County. We chose not to respond.
You all have the wrong attitude. You need to fill out the form and tell them (a) you make $300,000,000,000 per year, or (b) tell them you make $14.79 per year. What can they do, arrest you?
I have not received a letter but I do know that her dad also works for the town. My guess is he must have gotten her a job there too.

Um, yes. Don't you pay attention to current events and the illegal activities government and police engage in now?
Ok Pittsville residents. Continue to vote for Democrats and this is what you deserve. It's too late now. The liberal Democrats have eaten your lunch. Just check out the the family connection, and check out their connection to the Democratic party. These jobs were appointed, not earned through the ranks.
Re: 8:14.....it wasn't the same letter as Pittsville residents received but it was very similar in wanting incomes including retirement incomes, etc.
