(Salisbury, MD) Fatal or near-fatal drug and alcohol poisoning is a significant public health problem. Maryland data indicates that overdose deaths continue to rise in Wicomico County. “Opioids, including heroin and pharmaceutical opioid analgesics, are involved in a majority of overdose deaths,” says Lori Brewster, Health Officer for Wicomico County. “To begin to address this issue Wicomico County has developed an Overdose Prevention Plan to be implemented in conjunction with the Maryland State Plan.”
The public is invited to join state and local leaders in a Roundtable Discussion on this issue on August 28, 2013 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Wor Wic Community College, Workforce Development Center, Room 103, A, B, and C. The agenda will include an overview of the State plan, overview of the local plan, roundtable discussion and end with audience questions for the roundtable participants.

Is this a BYOB event?
But O'Failly sez that crime is the lowest since 1975? Okay, whatever. I'll go for reality, not O'Failly's claims.
This boy is clueless!
