Man Returns Bike With Bent Back Wheel

Clearly he didn't put the wheel on the bike all bent up, yet he felt he should return the bike after destroying the rear wheel. Maybe the next time he should refrain from leaving it behind the car so he doesn't back over it and say it was defective. My guess, WalMart took it back.

Wal-Mart may have took it back. But I bet we paid for it in higher prices.

Dull posting that is all speculation. Since you were close enough to take a picture you should have asked him what happened and maybne had a newsworthy interesting piece.

Unfortuntunatly all retailers are stuid enough to take it back. Lowes took back many items when I worked there that we knew the customer damaged. It began about 10 years ago. Before that retailers stood their ground. Then suddenly it was the customer is always right. Lost my job because I was defending Lowes but didnt get the back of a manager, who told me to "Not let the customer get away with anything". So yes people... return pretty much anything, bitch a bit, and will usually get your way. and if you dont, write a letter to corperate... even better things will happen.

This has happened to me. WalMart sucks at putting bikes together.

I'm pretty sure the people making ignorant comments would do the EXACT same thing.

yes walmart possibly did take it back. when I buy items from wal mart or other retailerslike lowes I always look in the box to see if it has been used. I was at wal mart to get an oil filter and there were some used ones on the shelf and some you could see the oil leaking out of them.lol and then we went to buy shoes and on some of the racks there were used ugg like boots hanging up with holes in the soles. I mean how could the emloyee miss that when the customer returned them.lol
