Coast Guard Rescues F-16 Pilot After Mid-Air Collision Off Chincoteague

CHINCOTEAGUE-The Coast Guard rescued a pilot after two National Guard jets collided off Chincoteague.

The F-16C Falcons, assigned to the 113th Wing D.C. Air National Guard,were training off the Eastern Shore around 10:300 p.m. Thursday, The collision occurred about 35 miles off the coast.

One pilot ejected and was recovered by the U.S. Coast Guard. The other pilot was able to fly back to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.

Could one of them be the plane that was practicing "touch & go's" at the Salisbury airport again, and again, and again, ..and again...and again..and again...and again......
