WASHINGTON - Thousands of motorcyclists gathered at the parking lots of the Pentagon Sunday morning for the start of the 26th annual Rolling Thunder motorcycle rally.
The motorcycles paraded through the city, but the mission of Rolling Thunder is to "never forget" prisoners of war and those missing in action, mostly but not exclusively from Vietnam - and to make sure the rest of the nation doesn't, either. Many participants wore military patches from their youthful service.

The silent majority is old and the past four years have nearly driven them crazy. They will not march against the Obama regime unless they are called.
He has taken all our bullets , he has taken some of our guns , he has taken our pride and freedom of speech in areas. He is trying to take most everything we believe in , but he can't take away our God or our beliefs.
He knows we are old and weary , he knows we don't have the physical strengths we used to.
He now preys on the young and the young are accepting him as a leader.
On this day celebrating our veterans I'm saddened by our change in this country. I served from 1966 to 1968 U.S. Army recon , 2nd Division , 38th infantry .
My mind is confused and my memory is slipping. But he will never , and I tell you never , take anything else from me or my family.
10:21 Thank you. I served in 1967 thru 1969, in 1st Battalion, 3rd infantry and also earned the MOS. of 11- Delta, Recon. My mind is sharp and my memory is excellent. Obama may fool the younger folks, who, like him, have no military experience, but us older Veterans will not stand down. Bengazi would have never happened if Obama had listened to his Chief's of Staff. In point of fact, they we were not even notified.
If Obama tried to shut down Operation Rolling Thunder, he could never do it. The veterans would never stand down, the DHS, National Guard, or American troops would never fire on them.
