I was stuck on the ken't Narrows Bridge for two and a half hours . tractor trailer two cars in when I see maybe 3. I don't think the driver of the Hummer lived. either way it was one of the worst accidents I've seen in a long time and I'm a firefighter and a medic. I'm doing speak typing on my phone before some smart but like to comment on typos
Use to be (not certain now) that there was only 1 (2 at most) state officials in the whole state that could investigate a death related accident and they had to be witness before anything moved again. So if you are sitting in a massive pileup it was more likely that they are waiting for a state examiner to be flown in from some distant place. Red tape.
MD policy seems to dictate that they screw up as many peoples day as possible when an accident happens. I am truly sorry for those involved, but the world keeps on spinning.
the long wait was due to the fact of a diesel tanker and the Maryland Department of Environment coming out to secure the scene and make sure there was no diesel spill. the same vehicle response from Baltimore. A tanker accident here Ocean City or wherever in Maryland

It is very hard to comprehend but 11:20 is accurate.
