NYFC. Long Waits
The New York Fried Chicken restaurant on Main Street and Rt. 13 is doing very well right out of the gate. I have a feeling this business will continue to do very well in Salisbury.

Food is great But just like you said LONG waits, Also I noticed this place has NO security cameras and they stay open to Midnight NOT Good, They better get cameras or they will get robbed.
Gets some good reviews. Here's one from a Baltimore location-
"Hey man you wanna buy a laptop for 50 bucks?"*
That was my first experience in New York Fried Chicken; a local franchise that peppers various Baltimore Neighborhoods and parts of DC. Its your basic chicken/sub shop: fried chicken, lake trout, cheesesteaks, burgers, candy, soda, little debbie snack cakes, etc...)
Located at the prime location of north and charles (across the street from club choices, down the street from the depot and the charles theatre, and other spots) The place is at its busiest on friday and saturday nights after last call. Walking in, you will be waiting for your 3 piece box w/ cheese fries along while someone will ask "Hey man, you drunk?"
"Who isn't?"
"Aw man, you're cool."
But the food: the fried chicken, especially at night due to the high turnover, is perfectly fried. Of course they have ample supplies of hot sauce (and old bay) for you to douse the chicken with. Their fries are standard frozen shoe strings that tastes like they were fried in chicken fat (which they probably are). Their cheesesteaks are enormous and therefore, the perfect drunk food.
Other stuff of note: they carry an assortment of side dishes. Their red beans and rice were mediocre (actually they are horrible), but at least their corn on the cob is better than the standard ones at KFC (across on st paul). They also carry little buckets of collard greens that is sinfully satisfying.
all in all, this place is the quintessential after-bar spot."
Used to be, maybe. But it is painfully obvious that there isn't much to deter them. And now they are taking our rights to defend ourselves and our right to own and bear firearms away. What deterrence?

every new place in town is busy for the first month.
the guy in the back is one of the 71 who were arrested for being "major drug traffickers"
What exactly is New York fried chicken?
Google it. There are about 20 or so of these chicken places in Baltimore. Mostly in low income ethnic neighborhoods.
That place is filthy inside.

And places with cameras don't get robbed? lol
Some of the Best fried chicken I have ever had. Hopefully this store is as good as the others.
Is that where Flannerys was...next to the old Boulevard
I'll stick with Red Roost, and Royal Farms when RR is closed.
I hopes they take food stamps. lol
It sure is, Jack! Then it was O.C. Kabobs, now New York Chicken. See, THREE NEW BUSINESSES STARTED IN DOWNTOWN SALISBURY!!!!
They cant take food-stamps that is hot prepared food.

Wait until the drunks hang out there late at night/homeless, I can see the fights happening now.
Do they serve lake trout at the Salisbury location?
So it's kind of like a restaurant/pawn shop all in one? Sounds cool.
No but they have catfish from the Wicomico.
