Senior citizens in Worcester County are being told to butt out, literally.
The Worcester County Commissioners voted Tuesday to add property owned or used by the County Commission on Aging to its list of smoke-free sites.
Rob Hart, the commissioner’s executive director, said he wanted the policy to be in effect July 1 at the four buildings used for seniors. The request included the grounds.
Senior centers in Ocean City, Berlin, Snow Hill and Pocomoke will be smoke-free. The policy applies not only to the senior citizens, but also to staff, visitors and others who might be on the property.

NO smoking means NO SMOKING! If you are STUPID enough to pay all the MD taxes on tobacco, you are smart enough to find another place to smoke. Consider that, while some workers are given smoke breaks, other (non smokers) have to cover for you without any compensation. It's simply not fair. Kick the habit and stop being chemically dependent upon Martin O'Malley.
7:39 is right, and if you have'nt learned it at your advanced age chances are you won't.
"other (non smokers) have to cover for you without any compensation"
You do not take breaks? Suppose a smoker may cover for you when you do?
It should be mandatory to cover for smokers so you do not trespass on their rights.

Wow, did you just quit? Or are you always aggressive? Or just another mean-spirited american?
Good Lord, there's a lot of hate on Saturdays here! So, you keep smoking there, and just what are they gonna do? Kick you out? You are their PAYCHECK! These people have been smoking their entire lives and will quickly tell you to F___ O__, and there you are!
Good luck with that.
7:39, Kinda like how we have to cover without compensation for materity leave which now includes fathers in some instances, employees who call in due to sick children or lack of childcare that day and on and on?
unless it's medicinal pot you're smoking.
