Hopkins Dr. Ben Carson Comments On Running For President

At a legislative prayer breakfast in Annapolis on Friday, renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital surgeon, Dr. Ben Carson, confirmed that he would not be running for president in the future.

Carson said people have been urging him to run for president, but he doesn't aspire to run for office.

In an interview with The Associated Press on Friday, Carson said it would be tough for him to run, because "I don't believe in political correctness." Carson also said he doesn't believe in "getting into bed with special interest groups."

Well, Ben, I can't blame you! Look how the People eviscerated Ron Paul. I think we are lost as a country, and folks like you and me may only become memories that may someday be a cause of revolution in the US, but not after things get much, much worse.

Your still one hell of a good man. Funny im a white guy and dont like Obama so I was told i was a raseist , but I would vote for Ben so what dose that male me? Not a sheep that's for sure.

Yeah you say something negative about Obama and you are called a raceist-ain't that the truth.
I've been fond of Dr Carson for years and have even spoke postively about him on this site way before I had any idea of his political leanings.
It's not being a racist it's being able to see clearly. Obama's are bottomfeeders who lack any morals or upbringing, low class and they lie. Dr Carson is first class and he doesn't have to lie to make him seem to be something he is not.

Dr. Carson is one smart man!! It is a shame he has no political aspirations, but then again, he is one smart man. I would enjoy seeing him in office to help in righting the wrongs that have been done to this country and the American people. I don't know if the 'entitlement slaves' would be very happy.

The reasons that make it difficult for him to run are exactly the reasons that we need someone like him to run. Maybe someone that thinks like him will come along soon. I'm with you 7:21, I can't stand Obama but I would vote for Ben Carson right now before I would vote for anyone else. I'm also white and would be considered racist just for not bowing to Obama.

No one believes in getting into bed with special interest groups until they are actually in office.Once there they realize they have no choice. He's just like people who buy exercise machines advertised on late night infomercials. They get it,put it together, use it constantly for about a week tops and then shove it in the closet.Politicians always hit the ground running until they realize how much they depend on those special interest groups that they so despised as civilians.
