ELKTON - A now-fired Maryland State Police trooper based in Easton is facing prostitution charges after he allegedly tried to pay a 16-year-old female Cecil County high school student for sex, police reported late Friday afternoon.
Investigators with the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office arrested the suspect ― Joshua Michael Wright, 21, of Elkton ― on Thursday, according to Lt. Michael Holmes, a spokesman for the CCSO.
Wright, who was released after posting a $1,500 bond, is charged with sexual solicitation of a minor for purposes of prostitution, solicitation of prostitution and two counts of attempted obstruction of justice, Holmes reported.

Hired in July, he's now fired for violating his probation.
Who was the JUDGE that just gave let him get out on $1500 Bail?
Great job prosecutor>?
Such sick and pathetic lust. If he was sincere and wanting a wholesome relation. He could of asked the girls parents for marriage.
648 ur kidding right?
Just remember that the bond is just to secure his appearance in court for his trial...his flight risk.
