Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade Outraged MSNBC Hosts Invited To White House

Fox News' Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade seemed perturbed Wednesday morning after they learned that some MSNBC hosts and "influential progressives" were invited to meet with the president at the White House on Tuesday.

President Obama met with Rachel Maddow, Al Sharpton, Lawrence O'Donnell, and Ed Schultz. The Huffington Post Media Group's Arianna Huffington was also in attendance. White House deputy press secretary Josh Earnest released a statement saying that "the President met with influential progressives to talk about the importance of preventing a tax increase on middle class families, strengthening our economy and adopting a balanced approach to deficit reduction."

On "Fox & Friends," Doocy and Kilmeade said they were "shocked" the president met with MSNBC hosts. "Look who was invited to the White House for a briefing," an astonished Kilmeade said. "Who was left to run MSNBC?" Doocy wondered.

Who in their right mind would want to go or be seen there?

Can't blame the White House. I can't imagine anyone would want to invite those people anywhere.

Because I am sure MSNBC will go along with whatever 'the wise one' says.

Seriously 1:14..... How could you ever stick up for such dishonesty and incompetence? Don't you have higher standards than that?

Watching Fox and Friends when the remarks were stated, I thought Steve and Brian were making "tongue in cheek remarks", and did not seem "outraged" at all. I have heard both speak several times, laughing about MSNBC.

To each his own 1:14 but in my opinion FOX is of a higher caliber and more fair and balanced than MSMBC. Steve and Brian are high class host in my book.

Just a public Propaganda strategy meeting among communists. Whats the big deal?

Fox is merely pushing the opposite agenda as MSNBC. They two are equal in their spin. I long for the days when news was news. I'm sick of hearing someones opinion who means absolutely nothing to me.
