I believe that he is right for once. When one of the lawsuits against the NFL (No Fun League) pertaining to head trauma is successful, the end is near. Maybe not in my lifetime, but football will change so much it won't be worth watching (or betting on).
As it is now, with all the time outs and "reviews", it is hardly worth watching. The games had aa ebb and a flow years ago. Now it seems to only be an ebb.
How can a 60 minute game take 3-4 hours? Why does the clock run while players are standing around? Why does the clock run so infrequently? The average time in an NFL game that the ball is actually in play is 12 1/2 minutes.
