This time repeating earlier damage on a camera near Loch Raven High School in Baltimore County.
Detective Cathy Batton with the Baltimore County Police Department tells WBAL Radio that someone spray painted the camera around 5:30 Friday morning along Cromwell Bridge Road.

To all of those that say run the goverment like a business....don't you think that a business would implement speed cameras as a way to offset the cost of enforcement? It is a user fee. Those that commit the crimes, pay for the service. I guess you all are happy to pay for the service wheather you commit the crimes or not. But then again....those of you mad about the cameras are probably the ones that are speeding. just sayin.....I say, for every one vandalized, place 2 more. HAHA...get over it....you lost, and they are here. Quit cryin' like a bunch of babies.

I say more power to them! I think we should all start paint balling every camera and not just speed cameras, but also public cameras as well. Big brother is not wanted or needed!

Everyone needs to get off the not costing the tax payer a cent notion. The program implemented by omally MD Safe Zones which oversees the automated speed enforcement have a budget of something just shy of 20 mil a year and has added approx 50 employees to the state's payroll.
Money the counties and municipalities see from this may appear "free" but it's not.

Sounds good except for the fact that their is no way this is offsetting anything except for the campaign donations to the politicians from the speed camera industry and the perks from their lobbyists.
Nothing more than a ploy to create more state government progams and jobs that cost the taxpayers way more than we could ever hope to see in revenue.
It is comical to hear from so many individuals who do not have a clue. The money generated by these devices do go into the general fund and help to eliminate tax increases. I am sure that most of the people complaining about them do not own property so they could care less if taxes are raised. I would also be willing to bet these are the same people feeling entitled to the gov't freebies. Instead of complaining, try obeying the law and become a contributing member of society.
I don't serve statutory laws nor their inventors. This once great nation rebelled against statutory law!

And somebody breaks into your car, then you say "who did it"? Where are the cameras when you need them to identify the person who did this to my car???
