President Barack Obama lampooned the recently-completed Republican
National Convention as better-suited to an era of “black-and-white TV“
and ” trickle-down, you’re on your own” economics Saturday, saying Mitt
Romney “did not offer a single new idea” to fix the economy.
“There was a lot of talk about hard truths and bold choices, but no
one actually told you what they were,” Obama said in Iowa, chuckling, as
he set out on a three-day tour of battleground states in the run-up to
his own convention. Later, Obama said, the Republican gathering was so
rooted in the past, there should have been a rabbit-ears antenna on the
convention hall.
Yet even the site of Obama’s convention, Charlotte, N.C., served as
an unwelcome reminder to the Democrats of an economy so weak that it
threatens his chances for re-election.

I guess jobs is a foriegn idea to obummer! What an idiot!
Here's a "single new idea":
Vote for someone who is qualified with a history of accomplishments!
Another example of obama's stupidity or more out and out lies by him. I heard all kinds of solutions. One being enough of the democratic capital cronyism which allows big corporations to dictate regulations which in turn runs the small business out because they can't afford to do business with massive amounts of regulations attached. Big corps want regulations as a way to skirt the anti trust laws.
Another solution was to make the US as energy independant as possible using proven energy sources which would create
100,000's of jobs. The republicans also offered ideas on new trade agreements with foreign countries. More take home pay for workers so they can spend it in their own communities instead of handing it over to the government in the form of taxes.
For 3 nights I sat and listened to solutions and ideas. I must have been watching a different GOP convention than the one Obama was watching.
He's right. Same old idea: Throw the bum out!
He's got nothing this time around. The unions are not showing up, and the minorities are having second thoughts.
The best idea I heard was to vote Obama out. Hoping for Change will not be enough - vote for Mitt Romney.
It's a no brainer. "Rooted in the past" proven solutions work.
We've had almost 4 years of obama's new ideas and they have unequivocally been a bust.
