It's A Holiday Weekend And I'm Taking Advantage Of It
My Son called and asked me what my plans were for the weekend. I replied, the usual. The Blog, a speaking engagement, a couple get together on Memorial Day, how about you. He replied, we were thinking of going to the Beach for the weekend but I guess your too busy to keep an eye on Marissa. I replied, the Blog will take care of itself, there's several months before the election and for what it's worth, I could use the break.
I think you can see where I'm heading. My Granddaughter is now with me and I'm stepping aside this weekend to give her all the quality time a Grandfather can offer.
I can assure you there will be plenty of Posts up on Salisbury News this weekend but the comments may stall for a while, I hope you can understand.
It's called Memorial Day and I'm going to create as many memories for her and me as I possibly can. Have a great weekend, all of you.

Go for it Joe. I'll mess with ya when you get back. lol.
Have a good holiday. You earned it.
She has your eyes.
Hey, it is really called Labor Day. You are 3 months behind. LOL
Well really it's called Labor Day but for you and Granddaughter, it will certainly be a "Memorial" Day.
Enjoy her while you can, they grow up way too fast.
a speaking engagement, no way
You look like a big teddy bear. So sweet.
uh labor Day not Memorial Day! You need a break go relax have fun!!!
Enjoy Labor Day with your beautiful family!
That's good of you to do that. However, this weekend is Labor day, isn't it? Not Memorial day...
ur way late for memorial day joe lol
Actually it is Labor Day... but we get the point!
Joe,
This is Labor Day weekend, you should be laboring. Taking care of young children is very labor intensive!! HA-HA
You can't have the memories unless you make them. Enjoy time with your family!
LOL, That is too funny. See, she has me so messed up in the head I don know if I'm coming or going.
Thanks for getting my point.
What a treat!
I used to always get Labor day and Memorial day mixed up until someone told me to remember Memorial day is in May and both begin with an M.
Have a great day with your granddaughter Joe. I love the name Marissa.
Molto Italiano!
Get up off the couch and make the kid a Sammitch.
My Dad always called it Pop Pop Patrol and he loved every second of it. She's a cutie. Could we see a trip to Toys R Us in your future today???
Hey, don't forget the popcorn...
Adorable! And your granddaughter is also cute. LOL
(^_^)
Joe she is adorable. Enjoy some family time and stay safe .Happy holiday to you.
Who cares what holiday it is Joe! Enjoy some family time and have a great weekend boss!
Funny, that doesn't look like 300 w. Main st. in Salisbury, MD. Looks like you live somewhere else.
anonymous 1:05, Awe, Jimmy, I know it's hard for you to understand but I own LOTS of properties. Are you suggesting I can't go to any of them and that I'm under house arrest in Salisbury? Wouldn't that mean you can't spend all that time in Rehoboth Beach, just sayin? You can try that game all you like Jimmy, I will file, I will be accepted and you will lose this election. What's the matter Jimmy, too much overcast at the beach today?
Actually it's labor day.
Why do people have to hate so much. Our lives are such a short time and we need to spread more love than hate. I might as well preach to my dogs; they understand love.
By the way 1:05, I actually live at 304 W. Main Street, Apt. 1. That's what it says on my MARYLAND DRIVERS LICENSE. You know, the one Jim Ireton held in his hands at the Salisbury Festival.
I just have one question, what are you two watching? You both look so into it. I love your hand on her head. What a cutie, must take after her grandma (lol). map
anonymous 10:21, we were watching ALL of the Press Conferences we recorded of Jim Ireton, of course.
Ahhh you finally get it. It’s not the mayor, the police, the fire dept......The grandkids are what really important
