The federal government has closed a criminal probe of alleged financial
misconduct by Arizona lawman Joe Arpaio, who styles himself as
"America's toughest sheriff," and no charges will be filed, the U.S.
Attorney's Office said on Friday.
A separate federal investigation relating to allegations of civil rights abuses by Arpaio's office is continuing.
The
announcement on Friday marked the end of an investigation that began
in November 2010 at the behest of the Maricopa County Board of
Supervisors to examine alleged financial improprieties by the county
sheriff and his deputies.

Obama looses another allegation
What a waste of taxpayer monies. Not for anything illegal, but POLITICS.
Holder and Obama, you just made yourselves look even more stupid, if that were possible.
You could have used some of that money and manpower securing the border.
You know, that place where illegals WALK across the border with no interference.

A failed retaliation by a desperate and failed administration.
If Joe is still Sheriff, amd I assume he is,he needs to get back to it.Legions of brilliant legal minds have tried to unravel the Obama mysteries to no avail. Most of us respect and applaud his efforts, but he needs to return to earth.
