Homosexuality is clearly condemned by the Bible. It goes against the created order of God. He created Adam and then made a woman. This is what God has ordained and it is what is right. Unlike other sins, homosexuality has a severe judgment administered by God Himself. This judgment is simple: They are given over to their passions. That means that their hearts are allowed to be hardened by their sins (Romans 1:18ff). As a result, they can no longer see the error of what they are doing. Without an awareness of their sinfulness, there will be no repentance and trusting in Jesus. Without Jesus, they will have no forgiveness. Without forgiveness, there is no salvation.
So....what the gays are trying to say is that because there aren't long lines at homeless shelters...it is okay for them to be gay?
The usual hate and attacks the gays like to use when they don't get their way.

You must be really sensitive to be on the same brain wave-length as the original poster to know exactly what he meant.
I don't know about other places but I know of Three homeless shelters in Salisbury. One is behind Giant, there is also the Christian Shelter and The Joseph House. I know in the winter time that many churches have sheltered homeless men. Each church takes a week and helps them with food, shelter and basic things that they need. Are there non religious shelters available?

I didn't know this was all about Christians. I thought is was about freedom of speach . Freedom of beliefs also.
this is about traditional family values and freedom of speach.
as far as the "picture" and "comments" on the picture, this is from someone who clearly doesn't give and help others through their church; where Jesus said for us to share what we have with those in need, especially widows and orphans.
my, my how did we get so far away from this direction given by God? if you will go back in history worldwide you will see very clearly that Christians were and are the ones who started such organizations as the Salvation Army, the Red Cross, hospitals and many other philanthropic organizations. for the most part Christians have always been givers, not takers. these ministries weren't started by those who didn't or don't love God. go figure. oh well, i think you get my drift...
That is because true Christians do not brag about their service to others. This was more in support of freedom of speech AND Christianity. Cathy said nothing that was garnered with hate, only his philosophical belief of marriage. The interviewer knew exactly what Cathy would say, and knew exactly the reaction of the public.

Chick-Fil-A is Christian business; they are closed on Sundays so their employees can attend church; and people are "shocked" to discover they are taking a stand against gay marriage?! I fully support Chick-Fil-A and share their views. It's about time Christians stand up for what's morally right.

I completely agree in this way: I find it disgusting that groups who call themselves Christians raise and spend millions of dollars fighting gay marriage when those millions of dollars would be much better spent on better causes, feeding the homeless, helping children in need, so many charities out there that could use that money, yet they spend their millions on this........and Chicfila is a good example...they donate millions to gay marriage? They have millions of dollars laying around and they can't think of a better cause to support? Isn't there another cause that could use their donations more? It seems selfish and not very Christian to me. Same thing applies to campaign money, ugh. Money wasted.
I say we need to follow EVERY thing the bible says and not just on the gays. Lets start with enforcing the last line of Leviticus 19:19 "'Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material. We can boycott Sears, Walmart, etc and the stone those people that break this law. We will make sure all gays wearing clothing of mixed material are stoned first.

12:50, This is the very first time and very first comment I have read about this whole Chick-fil-a thing that states what you state! You're saying that CFA actively raises millions and spends it somehow on "fighting gay marriage"? Where? How? I did notice the prayer jar there, where folks write their issues on a scrap of paper or take one out and pray for that person (no money involved there). I missed the "Fight Gay Marriage" jar, though. Please be more specific as to exactly what organizations receive money from CFA to "fight" gay marriage. This is totally new to me. I'll wait right here today.
The church I attaned does a food drive regularly, we rotate with other churches to house the homeless, and work at a local food kitchen and then we also donate a portion of funding to varous places that help the homeless, poor and hungry. I also know that this is true with many of the other local churches, so this isn't a fair statement or true. As far as gays, I'm not passing judgement, I stood up for the fact that chick-fil-A holds a certain value and belief and when challeged they we viewed as bigots when had any spcial interest group did the same it would have been considered freedom of speech and their right to hold a certain belief? What is this world coming to? Why don't we just tell the truth Christians are the target here.

What gives you the right to decide which charity or cause an individual or company supports? It isn't your money so why should you get a say in what they decide to do with THEIR money.
Whatever charity or cause you contribute to is just fine with me even if I don't support or agree with your choice. Because it's your money or time and its none of my business.

I support ChickFilA's right to operate their company as they see fit but I think the meme has a good point. It would be nice if some of that interest and money was directed towards local homeless shelters and food banks.
