ALLENTOWN, Pa. - A U.S. Naval Academy midshipman from Pennsylvania has died after
a car accident.
The (Allentown) Morning Call reports 21-year-old Austin Tyler Zalik, a junior
majoring in ocean engineering, died Friday in Pennsylvania's Berks County.
Authorities told the paper that Zalik had been sleeping in his pickup truck in
the parking lot of a gas station before the accident at 7 a.m. Authorities said the
pickup may have drifted forward as Zalik slept. The truck dropped off an embankment
and into the path of a tractor-trailer.

This is so sad. My heart breaks for the family. Having had a 21 year old son in the Marines that had a fatal accident I know how the family feels. Sometimes we just don't know why and never will know. God bless him and his family
My prayers to his family.
