Last week we told you we'd be coming up with something special in conjunction with the Plaza Deli. Well, here it is.
Come join us Thursday night at 5:00 PM for $1.00 Pulled Pork Sliders. If you've never tried Phil's food, FAGETABOUTIT! Dis place is da bomb!
When you get off work, come on down to the Plaza Deli and try this new item. Treat it like White Castle Burgers and bring home a bunch for the Family or sit down and dine with us.
I'll have Albero For Mayor Tee Shirts on hand for anyone who would like one as well as Bumper Stickers.

Joe, I'm curious. How come you no one sees you during 3rd Friday when there are many people in the Plaza, and you sneak out when there's no one there? One would think someone truly serious about running for office would campaign when more people are around, not less. Are you afraid of something?

OK stupid question, maybe. Is this a new owner of the Deli? I used to work downtown and it looks different than it did. But the girl behind the cash register looks the same, but I have never seen this guy. Sorry if I missed some posts along the way. I try to keep up to date. Oh, and by the way it was great seeing you at the Farm & Home Show! I'll be wearing my t-shirt Thursday night. :)

I want to take the time to PERSONALLY Thank you Joe for taking the time out of your busy schedule to come help support the Plaza Deli !
For the person that asked the question about us being new owners yet the same girl working there .... YES Marsha and I took over the plaza deli in April .... Yes I hired the old counter girl Jen because she has an AMAZING personality !
We will be open as long as we do NOT run out of food ! Trust me the pulled pork sliders ( and for that matter ) EVERYTHING on our menu ROCKS !!!!!! Try the Bird day sub ! Made with REAL turkey ! Or the blacken Shrimp blt ! KILLER !
Now for the moron that had to throw the negitive BULLSHIT in the mix .... I have been here 5 months and have PERSONALLY seen Joe at every 3rd friday .... Last month he was out there in the rain talking and taking pics..... Where I come from ..... You got a beef ... Say it to someones face ... Not hiding behind a keyboard using a anonymous name ....... Thank You Phil. Every one knows I stop in to 3rd Friday each month. The people who say negative things are the ones who actually never attend, they just say things like that because they are miserable people.
I may not stick around very long, because I live Downtown and would rather head out to Delmar to spend every ounce of quality time I can with my Family over the weekend as I possibly can. Hence my being EXTREMELY angry at Mayor Ireton for NOT showing up that Sunday or returning my calls or text messages.
One of the main reasons I enjoy Phil so much is that he and I are a LOT alike when it comes to being NO BS kind of guys. We tell it like it is, get it off our chest and move on.
He has a fantastic business on the Plaza and because I feel so I am fully willing to offer ALL the support we can. Remember Ladies & Gentlemen, we reserve the right to allow or not allow ANY business to advertise on Salisbury News. If the food sucked, the company would NOT be on Salisbury News.
