The TV shows keeping putting Erika Sifrits story on. great story. She shows zero remorse. her only interest is getting out of jail. Her stupid parents will keep paying hundreds of thousands in legal bills for nothing. She will die in jail. she's completely bat sh!t, on heavy medication, and will get every crazier in jail.
The parole board will laugh at her. she plead not guilty in court. It doesn't matter what remorse you show after that. They know you're not sorry or you would have plead guilty. The GOVERNOR of Maryland has to sign for the release of all lifers. The governor hasn't been singing releases for many years. It's a risk that can make them look bad. it gets them no points if they sign.
My point is this- her asshole boyfriend will walk out full time, 2/3 of his sentence, after about 25 years. he'll only be in his 40s. what kind of justice is that? Appealing a conviction for poor counsel is laughable. Was your attorney there? Was he sober? Then he did his job.
Erika will die in jail but it won't bring those two people back to life. she's in the women's CI in Jessup now by the way.

the way the trials went, you'd think she did it alone. btw, she's a 95 lb weakling. hubby should be a lifer, as well. I'm for the death penalty in both instances & surprised they didn't get it.
I would rather remember the names of the two people who were killed than hers. Sorry to say that I dont remember there names.
Ben Sifrit's public defender Burton Anderson did an excellent job, afterall he was found guilty of only 2nd degree murder.
Any attorney who would even consider taking on an appeal of attorney incompetence in this particular case is incompetent themselves in my opinion.
Either incompetent or very hard up for business which doesn't say much about their lawyering abilities.
What Erica and her husband did to those people was a crime that only God can truly judge. I'd just like to speed up the meeting...

I read she's trying her last hurrah appeal attempt on the basis of something like she's got mental issues. Well no kidding Erika. Of course you have mental issues. I'm sure the first jury figured that one out and had it in the backs of their heads.
For their own sake and mental stability her parents need to accept the fact that their daughter is a murderer. If they want to continue to throw good money after bad then that's their prerogative but it's not ever going to get her out of prison. A jury has spoken.
Speaking of public defender Burton Anderson, at the time of this there was talk about how Erika abandoned Ben by getting herself some supposed high powered high priced attorney. Those in the know were laughing the whole time saying to not ever underestimate the power of Anderson. It proved to be so true. She was found guilty of 1st degree and him the lessor 2nd degree.
They both should be doing life with no parole. Her husband will get out and kill again. Shame that it will take another life lost before he goes back for good.

I was incarcerated with this crazy when u look in her eyes she looks empty with no soul she is evil and the women on the compound treat her like a celebrity all her lesbian lovers i bet mommy and daddy dont know that
I was locked up with her too down jessup she's real tiny and seems all innocent but she was apart of that whether she's killed them or just cleaned the scene up she was apart of that and yea when I was down the cut she was fooling around with a few girls too and she does act like a celebrity I guess girls come in and want to say i was Erika's girlfriend yea like that's something to be proud of right.
They both are evil human beings- selfish! Both their parents need to take responsibilities for raising such hideous murderers! The parents of Erica should be so ashamed to spend those resources on her. They should divert their money to good cause and help the unfortunate young women who are being exploited and murdered! Sad....
