Apparently police are everywhere surrounding the Parkside Apartments in Salisbury. Apparently someone shot at Police Officers and they everywhere, including helicopters. More to come.
Someone just sent in a message stating there's now a hostage involved. NOTHING official has come from the Police Department.
No schools are in lock down.

If you could add "APARTMENTS" to your headline I am sure you could save a lot of parents from being extremely upset before they actually read the article. When you say Parkside around here, everyone thinks of the high school first. Anyway, I hope everyone is okay!!

I dont understand why the schools are not on lock down. I have a son at Parkside a daughter at WiHi and a nephew at Bennett and none of them have locked down.

2:28, because they probably knew where the suspect was(within the confines of parkside apts). Theirs no need to lockdown school and waste a school day when not necessary.
It is pretty simple why schools are not on lockdown. There was no threat to students or school property. The subject had barricaded himself inside of a building and was surrounded on the outside.

at one time there was a lock down...after the situation was under control, the lock down was lifted.
