A shattering report from RIA Novosti’s Washington D.C. bureau appears to prove that the mainstream press in America has become nothing more than a propaganda arm of the Obama regime when during a White House news briefing this past week they were effectively ordered not to report on this past weeks credit rating cut of US government debt.
The Russian International News Agency (RIA Novosti) is a Russian state-owned news agency based in the capital Moscow whose clients include the presidential administration, Russian government, Federation Council, State Duma, leading ministries and government departments, administrations of Russian regions, representatives of Russian and foreign business communities, diplomatic missions, and public organizations.
The White House news briefing referred to in this report occurred this past Thursday (5 April) when Obama regime officials were queried about the latest shock downgrade of the United States credit rating stating that to the American people this critical event should be kept in the category of a “non-story” so as not to confuse and/or shock them.
Most surprisingly, this report continues, the mainstream US news media, including their most important television networks and major newspapers, dutifully followed the directives of the Obama regime and failed to uniformly inform the American people of this momentous event.

Is this really surprising to anyone though at this point? I mean what other explanation do you have that the Trayvon Martin case was national headlines for about 3-4 weeks when our President was being investigated on whether or not he is from our country. Its obviously staring you in the face, that is what the President wanted us to be hearing and seeing.
Now I make it a point to watch BBC news every day.

Absolutely. It's a crying shame we have to go OUTSIDE of this country to find out what is really happening INSIDE this country.
We are being duped and manipulated in every conceivable way by the media, our very own government, police agencies,... you name it.
How many of you remember the private security force in Iraq? I forget the name, blackwater or something. Related to Halliburton.
I have seen video's of them riding along a highway in a pickup and shooting Iraqi civilians in their personal vehicles, killing them.
And it was 'legal'. Nothing was said. It was only when the rules were changed and they could now be prosecuted for their actions that they pulled out. No longer would they be afforded immunity for their actions, so they got out of Iraq.
Why do you think they were allowed to indiscriminately kill Iraqi's? To continue fueling hate towards American's and therefore keeping the war machine in place, to continue allowing certain people and companies the opportunity to reap huge profits.
And let's never forget Iraq had NOTHING TO DO WITH 911.
There were never any WMD'S found, even after people in our government swore they knew exactly where they were located, and were an IMMINENT threat to this country.
But I digress. Just an example of a former administration that is continued with the present admin.
Employees of Haliburton/Blackwater were not held to our military law and ethics in Iraq. They were private contractors and our military(Pentagon) allowed these renegade mercenaries to do as they wanted.
It was a lawless county so I imagine Haliburton declares they broke no laws. Instead of calling it Blackwater they should have called it Murder Incorporated.
