Are you looking for a career path? As a Leasing Agent with The Roop Group you will be placed on the fast track to a career in property management. The leasing agent is the property’s first contact with prospective residents. A leasing agent is a professional sales consultant that uses interpersonal and selling skills to professionally present the features and benefits of the property and close the deal. You will be responsible for listing, showing and procuring residents. This includes communicating with the owner and prospects regarding the property for lease. Leasing agent previews each property and suggests to owners what is needed to lease the property including pricing and rent-ready issues, installs lockboxes and signs, takes photos, and creates a detail features report. During marketing phase agents track the properties condition, check utilities, lawn care and reports to all owners and Maintenance Manager. Lastly, Leasing Agents are responsible for conducting move-ins, including getting lease paperwork completed, performing move-in inspections and collecting security deposits.
