Wicomico County Sheriff's Office Press Releases 2-13-12

On February 09, 2012 Detectives and Child Protective Service Investigators of the Wicomico County Child Advocacy arrested James Meager of Salisbury, Maryland for sexual assault of a minor. The investigation also resulted in Meager being charged with twenty-seven counts of possessing Child Pornography. Detectives uncovered over one hundred thousand images of Child Pornography from a computer owned by the accused. It is alleged that Meager sexually assaulted an eight year old female. The investigation is continuing. Detectives are attempting to locate children that Meager has had contact with.

NARRATIVE: On February 9, 2012 Investigators from WBI, SPD CID and MSP Somerset learned they all had related investigations and came together to combine information. As a result the below listed individuals were arrested for multiple day time burglaries. In the cases the suspects determined that no one was at the residence before breaking in and taking the property.
